Paws Indoors Ltd is a mobile veterinary service that also has a surgery for operations and hospitalisation. Based on the website and recent reviews, the clinic is set up to provide at-home veterinary care (including end-of-life support) alongside in-surgery procedures when needed. Multiple reviewers describe vets coming to their home, talking them through what would happen, and keeping the situation calm and low-stress for both pet and owner. Owners also mention ongoing support such as advice about quality of life, repeat medications handled remotely (by phone/post), and small bereavement gestures (a card and candle).

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our much loved labrador, Tilly, at the end of her life. Thank you so much. A wonderful vet who was so kind but who instinctively seemed to know what we needed. I just felt she would adapt to any household and to what the owners needed. For us, it was quiet and calm, she talked through exactly what was going to happen and Tilly had a very peaceful and loving passing in her own home. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.

Great staff looked after Wilbur, my Sprocker Spaniel until he died this year. If you want a caring value for money vets, then this is the one. I cannot say anything bad about them.

My husband and I feel we should share our experience we’ve had with paws indoors and would recommend them highly to be there for you and your beloved pets. From a chance meeting with Shona as our farm cat had been run over and was taken to her house and I went to collect to bring home and bury and seeing that Shona had Paws Indoors uniform on, asked about what they did. I feel it was meant to be that we met, though on sad terms, but I spoke about our two dogs, brothers, one in particular and needed an opinion on their care and quality of life, Shona said to call and arrange a home visit, we are forever grateful that Shona could come to our home and meet our dogs and give advice and just acknowledging what we knew that it was time to say goodbye to one of boys , Shona talked through the process of ending a life, so we were prepared when she came to put our boy quietly and gently to sleep in our home, unfortunately the effect it had on his brother was great and Shona again came to help with advice and medication to help him through this time but he went downhill quickly and Shona prepared us again for the inevitable, and we had to prepare ourselves again. The support and kindness and reassurance that we received when it was time for our boys from Shona made these time’s feel comforted as losing our boys so close together was quite unbearable but the gestures given of a card and candle from all the colleagues from Paws Indoors was gratefully received to keep as mementoes. Thank you for being there.

The time came to say goodbye to our beloved little pup. Paws indoors (Rosie) was wonderful, patient, kind, caring and totally focused on making the situation as stress free as possible for our pup. Thank you Paws indoors for being wonderful during a dreadful time.

We recently used Paws in Doors Vets and couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, they were professional, caring, and so much easier to deal with than the big corporate vets. What really stood out was how comfortable and stress-free our pets were – being treated in their own home made such a difference. The team put both us and our pets at ease, and it was clear they genuinely care about animals. We’ll definitely be sticking with them and would highly recommend their service to anyone who wants a more personal and stress-free option for their pets.

Having a large breed dog that has reached a good age often brings with it issues around how mobile they are. This can make it difficult to get them to the vets because its either too far to walk them or too difficult for them to get in the car or to lift them due to their size. I genuinely feel that finding Paws Indoors was the difference between me having to consider putting my older Leonberger to sleep or being able to keep her happy, comfortable and still enjoying life for another couple of years. The fact that they could come out to see her when necessary and could deal with all her repeat medication needs by phone/post meant that she happily and comfortably lived to the incredible age of 15. I really do feel that would not have been possible if I had had to attend a normal vet clinic with her as it was hardwork for both her and me. When the very sad time came to say goodbye to her they were amazing, kind, compassionate, respectful and supportive to me as her owner too. If you have a dog who doesn't like going to the vets, or struggles with the journey, or is just a bit big and stiff to get in the car like mine was, then Paws Indoors may just be the answer to your problems. I'll never be able to thank them enough for the extra years they enabled me to have with my beautiful girl thanks to their knowledgeable home-based care, or the way they helped me when the time came to say goodbye. I would recommend them to anyone.

When the most difficult day arrived, my vets recommended the staff at Paws Indoors for a home visit. Both my husband and I found the decision to let our 13 year old Misty go,, very difficult. The team made the whole process calm and dignified. Rosie came to our home and let Misty go to sleep, she was amazing! She discussed the process with us and waited for us to be ready. Thank you to the whole team, but especially Rosie for looking after us. Mel & Rog
