Owner feedback is mixed: many reviews describe strong support around end-of-life care (including home euthanasia, cards, paw prints and ashes returned promptly), while some negative reviews describe serious concerns such as missed promised call-backs after tests, difficulty securing appointments, and one report of a puppy later diagnosed elsewhere after an initial visit and an £860 bill.

Our dog has been unwell recently and has to have multiple tests. Each time we have been given a day when the vet will call back and without fail each time the day comes and goes with no call. I have to chase multiple times to get any response from the vets despite their multiple promises to call. This delays treatment to our dog and means she is unwell for longer. The mark up on drugs they sell is astronomical, recently they wanted £46 for 50 tablets, when the exact same 50 tablets pack was available on Amazon for £22. Getting an appointment at the Dereham branch is tricky and we have often had to end up going to Fakenham branch instead. Of course when it comes time to pay they are very efficient in getting their money. No delays there.

Absolutely shocking vets, my six month old puppy had parvovirus and after fours hours at the surgery, and a £860.00 bill, they failed to diagnose him and sent him home , he nearly died that night and Roman House vets Heatherset saved his life , diagnosing him in 10 minutes and isolating him and treating him accordingly

DO NOT USE GROVE VETS!! They are only bothered about what money can be made not the welfare of an animal ! I took my cat in as an emergency as I thought he broke his leg , they pulled on it prodded at it then said to my husband they wanted to keep him in to forcefully move it around some more, when we explained we couldn’t afford it but asked if a payment plan was available they then said “well why bring him in if you have now money we aren’t a bank” BECAUSE THE WELFARE OF MY CAT IS MORE IMPORTANT!!! She then said without an x-ray it’s fractured he needs 1.an operation 2. It amputating or 3 EUTHANISING !!!! He’s a healthy cat other than this we took him else were to learn it was a sprain!!!! They wanted to euthanise a healthy cat because of a sprain!!! Absolutely disgusting! They should not be open as they do not care about the animal itself just what money can be made from it. I’m heavily pregnant and the tears this left me in was uncalled for !

I can't fault Grove vets in dereham at all. They are really fantastic. The receptionists are always so friendly and welcoming and the vets/nurses are very professional and friendly too. They are always genuinely happy to see our cats everytime we come in and any questions or queries that we have are always answered in depth. A big thank you to you all from us!

My little one is so well looked after here. The staff are amazing and always remember their clients, the vets are also so informative and handle our precious fur babies with love and care. I normally speak with Samantha on reception and Ginny cares for my fur baby. They are actually all amazing. We are always greeted with smiles. Lovely team of people who are all passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

I wanted to add, that this is hands down the best vet I have ever dealt with. Not only did they come out to put down our elderly dog, but sent a loving card. That was so thoughtful. Shame I can't give 6 stars. Fantastic.

Alas we had to say goodbye to an old family friend this week. The staff were so supportive and went beyond our expectations to make a hard time as easy as it could be. We would really like to say a big thank you for all your kindness and support.
