Went with my elderly dog today. Was given an honest opinion about her diagnosis. I was really reassured that what was best for her was paramount in any treatment.

We recently moved our animals here. So happy we did. Our concerns were listened to and taken on board. The appointments don't feel rushed. And the staff were all friendly. It was priced well too for the medications needed..

I've had my pet rats registered for a few years now after changing from another vet who I wasn't happy with. Each vet I have seen has been competent with my rats and willing to listen to my suggestions as an owner of 30 years as I appreciate they are not the usual animal to see, an open minded vet makes the whole world of difference and gives me confidence. They do have exotic vets for more difficult cases.

I just want to say a huge thank you for looking after Dina throughout her neutering op this week. From start to finish we were given valuable information on what would happen. Today the vet called to ask how Dina was doing which we thought was a lovely touch. It makes us feel so confident in their expertise. A special thank you to Isobel B who carried out the op and the amazing Eleanor veterinary nurse who looked after her from start to finish. Im sure there were others behind the scenes so thank you to them. An outstanding practice who we gave total faith in.

Have used Caister Vets for a couple years now since changing over from another practice in the area and i have always been happy with the care me and pets have received. Would like to put in a special word for vet Sally-Ann who has recently just helped our Greyhound, Lady, recover from an Anal Gland Abscess. It took a-lot longer than planned but Sally-Ann was really thorough and explained everything to us so so well and put us at ease when we were worried about potential further investigations. She was so kind to Lady, with her being a shy but good natured dog she really took her time to make sure Lady was as comfortable as possible each time she came in. Keep doing what you doing Sally-Ann and the rest of the team at Caister Vets, we wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

I would like to thank Chloe the vet who tended to our dog, Cocoa. As she was a very anxious, rescue dog, she didn’t handle any new situation well (she was shaking and very frightened) but Chloe went out of her way to tend to Cocoa within minimum fuss or heavy intervention on all 3 occasions I took her in. Last Thursday (8/5/25) we had to put her to sleep and Chloe handled this with real kindness.
