I had to take our dog in last minute to be put to sleep as he was very old and unwell. We were looked after by Roy, who was incredibly patient, calm, and compassionate throughout the whole process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made an extremely difficult moment feel a little more bearable. We couldn’t have asked for a better vet during such a heartbreaking time. To make it even more special, a card arrived in the post today with our dog’s paw print on it — such a thoughtful and touching gesture that meant so much to us. Thank you to Roy and the whole team for your kindness and care.

Called to make an appointment to see a lovebird, first receptionist was very kind, asked me what the issue was with the bird and said said to call in the morning at 8:30AM. Called this morning and was told callously that they do not see birds. That’s time that could have gone to find another vet, I don’t see why they couldn’t have expressed this straightaway in the first phone call while my pet’s condition worsens.

I have had no end with issues with haven vets. My dog went in for a routine spray directly after she was put under ready for operation, I received a call highlighting they were unable to complete spray due to unforeseen lumb identified I'm still struggling with the fact to why wasn't this identified as part of pre operation checks. The lumb identified was in a clear feelable poistion, this should have been identified prior to putting my dog under stress and cost prep for operation with no result which I still had to pay 😡 The vet was unsure of the next stage asking me what I would like to do?? You are the vet!!!. All they could think about is doing is expensive tests with no assurance of results Be careful with Haven surgery since 2022 they are now part of a consortium company which involves you being hit with unnecessary vet costs. I have no trust in Haven Vets for welfare of my Dog. I would not recommend to anyone.
